Dogs welcome! 10% goes to 'Many tears Animal Rescue'

Our new cottage is in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Stables cottage is set in eight secluded private acres and surrounded by interesting bird and wildlife. Walks from the house are through mature woodland, taking in small lakes and a waterfall with many lovely natural features.  The garden is ideal for dogs and the silence is so peaceful. The Peak district’s fascinating landscape and amazing walking, together with an abundance of historic houses and villages, make it a delightful destination for your holiday. The Stables is a perfect home from which to plan your day. Driving in the dales and peaks is a rare pleasure and walking along the National Trust grit stone edges is truly exhilarating. To quote from Pride and Prejudice “There is not a finer county in England than Derbyshire” Prices and availability at end of page! Special offers!

Stables cottage is painted white throughout. The sitting room has a TV, (with full Sky package, HD, Sky Plus and good reception), DVD/CD player and radio, There is a two seater sofa, an armchair and a table for two. Our cottage has a romantic ambience. Its lovely location would be perfect for a wedding anniversary where your dogs are welcome too.

The Charnwood wood burning stove not only looks fabulous but utilises wood from our land. It is not necessary to light it, the cottage heating will do the job in all weathers but it is gorgeous for dogs and humans alike! Guests have been known to wish for a cold weather holiday, just to snuggle up with their dogs at their feet, watching a Sky film, in front of the clear view stove. We leave a small basket of logs and bags may be purchased at £5 each from the store in Cottage garden

The well equipped Stables cottage kitchen has a Fridge/freezer, Electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster, extractor fan and all the paraphernalia you could wish for.
